THERE IS NO WAY WE COULD LIST THE PAGES AND PAGES OF TELEVISION CREDITS THAT DEAN MARTIN HAD ACCUMULATED OVER HIS FIFTY YEARS IN SHOW BUSINESS. ASIDE FROM HIS OWN WEEKLY VARIETY SHOW WHICH RAN FOR NINE SEASONS IN WHICH DEAN WAS THE HIGHEST PAID TV STAR OF IT'S TIME... DEAN STARTED OUT WITH APPEARANCES ON OTHER SHOWS. AS HALF THE TEAM OF MARTIN AND LEWIS, THE BOYS MADE THEIR DEBUT ON ED SULLIVAN'S "TOAST OF THE TOWN" JUNE 20, 1948.

FROM HERE, IN BETWEEN APPEARANCE ON OTHER VARIETY SHOWS, DEAN AND JERRY LANDED THEIR OWN TV SHOW, "THE COLGATE COMEDY HOUR" WHICH ALLOWED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THE CHANCE TO SEE THEM SINGING AND DOING THEIR ROUTINES.

AFTER THE BREAK-UP IN 1956, DEAN SPENT EVEN MORE TIME ON THE TUBE. HE WAS OFTEN INVITED TO GUEST ON MANY SHOWS... NOT JUST VARIETY, BUT DRAMAS AS WELL. "RAWHIDE" AND "CHARLEY'S ANGELS" WERE SOME EXAMPLES... BUT THE BEST SPECIALS, WERE THE "LIVE" VARIETY ONES... THE "SOUPY SALES" OR "TONIGHT SHOWS".

THERE WERE THE MEMORABLE SHOWS WITH BING CROSBY, THE BOB HOPE SPECIALS, THE "CLUB-OASIS" SHOWS WITH FRANK SINATRA. THE "HOLLYWOOD PALACE" SHOWS AND THE "JUDY GARLAND SHOW" WERE ALL SHOWING DEAN'S FUN-TO-BE-WITH STYLE, AS WERE THE SHOWS WITH LUCILLE BALL, DOM DELUISE, DON RICKLES OR SHIRLEY MACLAINE.
